Couchbase President and CEO Matt Cain Joins TechNet Executive Council

Fastest-growing enterprise database company joins national, bipartisan network of innovation economy CEOs and senior executives to advance U.S.’s posture on technology innovation

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.–April 10, 2018–Couchbase, Inc., creator of the world’s first Engagement Database, today announced President and CEO Matt Cain has been appointed to the Executive Council of TechNet as the newest of its 15 members.  Through the Executive Council, Cain will engage policymakers to advance innovation, stimulate economic opportunity, and ultimately strengthen the U.S.’s position as the world’s preeminent innovation leader.

Leveraging nearly two decades of experience in leading global organizations–several years within the data management space–Cain will share with TechNet members expertise to help strengthen the U.S.’s posture on data-related initiatives at both a public and private sector level. Through his work with  Couchbase’s customers, which account for some of the biggest household names across multiple industries, Cain has an intimate understanding of the data dilemmas enterprises face to stay competitive.
