Couchbase and Wipro Limited Form Strategic Partnership to Bring Scalable, High Performance NoSQL to Enterprises

Wipro will build a Couchbase Global Center of Excellence to train employees on Couchbase’s Enterprise Grade NoSQL

Mountain View, CA – October 6, 2014 – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Couchbase, Inc., provider of the most complete NoSQL database, today announced a global system integrator and reseller agreement with Wipro Ltd. (NYSE:WIT), a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company.  The partnership will enable both Couchbase and Wipro to better serve the increasing global demand for enterprise class NoSQL to support mission critical applications and big data needs of enterprise customers in industry sectors such as energy and utilities, financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and telecommunications.

Under this agreement, Wipro will set-up a Couchbase Center of Excellence where specialists are trained on implementing and building business solutions on Couchbase NoSQL technology. Additionally, Wipro will resell Couchbase software to its enterprise customers in industry sectors it serves.
