Foreword
I'd like to discuss some of the capabilities of Couchbase and how they reflect against things like Disaster Recovery (DR) scenarios, RDBMS management, and the NoSQL story. Just to add some context, I've been working on Oracle, Microsoft, and Open Source solutions for the last 18 years or more and in that time I've had the privilege of working with many different technologies used to solve many complex problems. Couchbase, as a single product, helps solve a lot of those just because it was built to solve them, and the ones not yet encountered.
