Leading NoSQL Database Predicted to Reach $1 Billion Valuation
Couchbase, Inc., creator of the world’s first Engagement Database, today announced it has been included in Forbes' 2018 Next Billion-Dollar Startup List. With its Next Billion-Dollar Startup List, Forbes looks to recognize companies in the U.S. that are most likely to hit the billion-dollar mark in the coming years.
The winning companies were nominated from a pool of 200 venture capital firms and judged on overall business strategy and financial accomplishments. In its fourth year, the Forbes team along with TrueBridge Capital Partners evaluated 100 companies and narrowed its list down to 25 honorees.
"Distinctions like these are a recognition of the extended Couchbase team’s collective efforts to become the next great enterprise software company, an indication of just how far we’ve come, and yet another sign of our future potential in the market,” said Matt Cain, President and CEO of Couchbase. “We continue to innovate at a market-leading pace while focusing maniacally on solving our customers’ most complicated database challenges. Thank you to all of our employees, customers, and partners for joining us on this journey.”
