What is changing?
The Capella UI (aka the Control Plane) will be updated shortly to make it more intuitive and make tasks easier. For developers, the start menu and navigation have been redesigned to elevate priority tasks like accessing data and setting up connections easier to find and accomplish. Administrative tasks have been centralized to streamline configuration and management efforts.
Note: UI appearance will not affect functionality nor change cluster configurations.
What will I see when I log in?
The landing page for current users will be the list of current Databases within their organization tier. In the same area, users will see tabs for App Services, Projects, People, Teams, Clouds, Support, and Settings. The Settings tab is for those settings that apply at the organization level like authorization setup, overall usage data, and billing information.
How do I access the Query Workbench and other data tools?
By selecting a specific database, you will then be presented with the Data Tools tab. On the left side you will see options for different data tools, like the Query Workbench and Document Viewer.

When will these changes take place?
