Couchbase Named to VentureWire’s FASTech 50

Mountain View, Calif. – September 13, 2011 – Couchbase, the leading NoSQL database company, today announced that it has been named to VentureWire’s FASTech 50 list of the most innovative technology start-ups. The editors of Dow Jones VentureWire and a board of leading venture capitalists selected Couchbase from a pool of hundreds of venture-backed companies.

The theme of this year’s list was innovation, and to be eligible, companies must be based in the U.S., be venture-backed and also have launched a product within the last three years that breaks from conventional methods, introduces a novel technology or markedly advances an existing product or service.
