We deleted a bucket (using terraform) which had a scheduled daily backup. Now we get an email alert every day saying that the backup for this bucket failed. How can I stop it trying to backup the deleted bucket?

Thanks for raising this. I believe that we have received some internal alerts for this. I’m going to perform a manual intervention to remove the non-existent bucket from the backup schedule in place for your cluster in the meantime. Following this I’ll also be flagging this up to our relevant teams internally for a more thorough review and long term fix.
I will share a quick update here once the manual work is completed.

That’s done now, so hopefully you should not continue to see the backup failures for attempts against this specific deleted bucket. If you do continue to see any of this please let us know here.
