Unabel to add a node to the server ; Node already exists in cluster

Hi all ,

Couchbase version: 5.1

I have a 3 data plus 2 index query node cluster. When one of the data pod gets deleted it is unable to add to the cluster saying Node already exists in cluster.

Command:
/opt/couchbase/bin/couchbase-cli server-add --cluster=c2pvcbdata-0.c2pvcbdata.amit-infra.svc.cluster.local:8091 --user=cbAdministrator --password=cbPassword1234 --server-add=c2pvcbdata-2.c2pvcbdata.amit-infra.svc.cluster.local --server-add-username=cbAdministrator --server-add-password=cbPassword1234 --services=data

Hi @amithrh,

When you say “pod”, does that mean you are using Kubernetes? If so, you should look into using the Couchbase Kubernetes Operator: https://www.couchbase.com/products/cloud/kubernetes
