How to go back to old UI?

Hi,

I just downloaded Couchbase 5.0.

It looks like the UI has been re-designed completely.

Is there a way to go back to the UI from 4.x version?

The new U.I looks incomplete and it’s somewhat hard to see.

I’ve been using the old U.I for over a year and half now. It looked much better in my opinion.

Can you please give us more content on what you dislike about this UI?
Is there something that is hindering your tasks?

Hi,

I’m super cautious whenever I access Couchbase admin panel. Just clicking a different button can cause an issue (deleting different doc…different bucket or even different index). The new U.I looks and feels completely different. People make mistakes with new U.I by mistakes. I just think that it would be nice to have an option to keep the old U.I for those users who have been using it for the last few years. This is my personal opinion, but I don’t really see a reason to completely change the U.I when Couchbase has been using the same U.I since…maybe version 2?

We have revamped the UI to improve customer experience and to enable more functionality. We cannot go back to the previous UI. Give it a try, we believe it will be a better experience once you start using it.
If there are specific concerns, please let us know.
