I am pleased to announce that the third episode of The NoSQL Database Podcast sponsored by
카우치베이스, has now been published. The episode is titled Switching from a Relational Database to NoSQL
and focuses on a particular users story pertaining to their transition.
In this episode I am joined by Tom Coates, Senior Principal Architect at Nuance. In this episode,
Tom shares how his company started with Oracle, but later switched entirely to NoSQL. It wasn’t just a one stop transition though
because as Tom discusses, Nuance had tried two different NoSQL solutions before deciding what was the best fit for them.
Topics in this episode include a discussion on what kind of data was being stored in Oracle and what the driving factors were in regards
to making the jump. We discuss how well the process went and any kind of difficulties that existed throughout. Tom’s use case at
Nuance is a great opportunity for anyone to hear anything that happened and feel safe about making the switch on their own
product.
Episode #3 of The NoSQL Database Podcast has been published to 포켓 캐스트스, 그리고
