Couchbase Server 3.1.0 Enterprise Edition – now available!

We’re happy to announce the release of Couchbase Server 3.1.0 Enterprise Edition. As many of you know, version 3.0 revamped the architecture to deliver new database capabilities and major enhancements in many other areas. Version 3.1.0 is the first minor release of the Couchbase Server 3.0 line. 

 

Couchbase Server 3.1.0 delivers new features in DCP and security as well as major performance improvements for map-reduce views.  Several critical bug fixes that are included in this release improve the stability, security and user experience. Couchbase Server 3.1.0 also adds support for a new OS platform: SuSE Enterprise Linux 11.  

 

For Couchbase Mobile users, Couchbase Server 3.1.0 is production certified with Couchbase Sync Gateway 1.1.  Sync Gateway users are encouraged to upgrade to 3.1 to take advantage of the many improvements since the 2.5.2 release.

 

You can checkout the latest version on our download page. If you are currently running Couchbase Server 2.5.x/3.0.x Enterprise Edition, we recommend that you upgrade to version 3.1.0 Enterprise Edition.

Before joining Couchbase, Anil spent several years working at Microsoft Redmond. Anil holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Toronto (Canada) and a bachelor’s in information technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University (India).
