Typically the message from the diag.log - which is what you appear to be quoting - is truncated. The full stack trace should be present in the query.log - if you could post that along with your full version (cat /opt/couchbase/VERSION.txt) it will be more likely we can help.
(Or use cbcollect_info - or the UI - to gather a full set diagnostic logs and provide the output.)
