Expiry return for fetched documents in 4.5.X

According to:

GetAndTouch always change the expiry to 0 in the retrieved document

If I remember correctly, the server doesn't return the expiry in its response and that is why when you issue a get you don't see any expiry, so this more on the "by design" side of things.

Hi, the metadata of the document are not sent back when using the K/V protocol. You will have to create a view to access those Data.

the expiry for document is not returned by server. Both answers are made in 2015 (pre 4.0 -> 4.0)

In fact, i observe that for 4.5.X it’s true for Java SDK, but maybe i’m wrong and 4.5.X returns expiry but the returned value processing is not implemented in Java SDK yet ?

Is there a JIRA ticket (probably, for future releases) that your “yet” is based on or “yet” is just a form of “maybe one day, but now it’s not” ?
