Couchbase Community Edition -License Type

Hi Team,

Currently we are using Couchbase server 6.5.1 CE server for the Development activity with Java SDK 3.0.5.

Want to know the License Type of this version to proceed further . Can you share the Link where I can see the license type information .

I got this URL but I am not able to see the License type .

Hello Kamesh,
Please take a look at https://www.couchbase.com/3rdpartylicenses-couchbaseserver-6.5.0 as this lists the license types for each of the components which make up Couchbase Server 6.5.x. As you can see most of these are Apache or MIT style licenses.

I understood that most of the 3rd party components used in this server are MIT and Apache licensed. But I would like to know whether Couchbase Server 6.5.1 Community Edition is licensed under Apache 2.0 or MIT?
Also can we use Commuity edition 6.5.1 in SaaS offerings and distribute to clients ?

There’s very specific requirements that our licenses cover and I’m not a lawyer so I wouldn’t want to misrepresent those requirements.

You should have a LICENSE.txt in the root directory of your installation, and as that file says
