Are there any plans about “official release” of CB-server for 16.04 LTS ?

Any chance to get 16.04 support before 18.04 comes out?

With recent docker confusion & so many Ubuntu 16.04 servers, this would be nice to have - it’s absence makes maintaining apps that used couchbase difficult.

Support for Ubuntu 16.04 will be available for Couchbase Server 5.0 which is still in Beta. You can download the Couchbase Server 5.0 Beta from downloads page. We will also update the DockerFile with Ubuntu 16.04 here is the JIRA ticket.
