Unable to create k8s with AKS node pools

I am trying to create a cluster with aks, it works up to the point of attaching persistent volumes. At this point it falls over. I am using aks node pools.

The immediate binding sounds suspicious, have you followed these instructions to use lazy binding? https://docs.couchbase.com/operator/1.2/persistent-volumes-zoning-guide.html

Weird, cluster works if i don’t mount volumes.

I have never seen this before, looks like a problem for Microsoft to explain.
