Just a heads up for anyone else upgrading: I recently moved from Couchbase Community Edition 6.6.0 to 7.6.2, and noticed that the “Share usage information with Couchbase and get software update notifications” setting is now greyed out.
After inspecting the HTML, it seems like this control is now only available in the Enterprise Edition. There’s also a brief note in the general settings documentation that this option can’t be changed via CLI or REST, which might support that assumption.
Has anyone else noticed this change? And if you’ve come across any official documentation that confirms this behavior, or explains it in more detail, I’d be keen to take a look.
