For example if there is an ongoing campaign for a website on the weekend, will Capella automatically scale it up to handle the increase in traffic and scale it down after the campaign ends?
The short answer is no, we don’t support automatic scaling at the moment but it is definitely on the roadmap. However, it’s important to note that the scale-out or scale-in process with Couchbase is completely automated and non-disruptive to the application…but does need to be initiated manually.
