Couchbase Developer Experts and Community Champions!
We have an amazing developer community around Couchbase Server and Couchbase Mobile. Our new Couchbase Developer Experts and Couchbase Community Champions programme recognises their knowledge, skill and enthusiasm.

What are the membership criteria?
Couchbase Developer Experts
Experts are people who have a deep knowledge of some aspect of Couchbase Server or Mobile and who engage regularly with the Couchbase developer community.
We want to select a diverse group of people as Experts, coming from a range of backgrounds, organisation types and locations. As our community grows, the criteria for becoming a CDE will evolve.
In particular, Experts should have the following:

- a web app or service that uses Couchbase Server
- tooling for Couchbase that's freely available (e.g. an SDK)
- code committed in a Couchbase project (e.g. the Java SDK).
- History of supporting other developers: activity on mailing lists, forums and so on.
- Building community and sharing knowledge: running meet-ups, blogging, speaking at events, etc.
- Expertise in at least one particular area: e.g. working with the Python SDK.
