Hacking Generation Y<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Journey Begins with your first Hackathon and for many students this weekend\u00a0at\u00a0HackGenY<\/a>\u00a0is an experience of a life time. The Couchbase team was working around the clock to provide in-person and\u00a0online\u00a0mentorship support throughout the event. \u00a0Students poured in from around the country to Hack!<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

The day began with lectures and workshops. \u00a0Students attended cutting edge technology\u00a0introductions with\u00a0topics ranging from\u00a0Machine Learning to Mobile development.\u00a0<\/span>Wayne Carter<\/a>\u00a0presented Couchbase Mobile to a packed student audience that were eager to try the\u00a0<\/span>Couchbase Mini-Hack tutorials<\/a>\u00a0and use the cool sync-ing solution in their mobile apps. \u00a0Couchbase Mobile is simple to use and allows everyone to\u00a0focus on creating rich mobile UI and UX features.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Soon after, students hundled into their teams and started designing their weekend hack project to present to the judges. \u00a0Amazing ideas were discussed with the Couchbase mentors and soon each team member were busy focusing on creating their hack solutions. \u00a0From wearables to flying drones, from classroom education tools to the next hit social media app, students from across the teams\u00a0soon realized just how amazing\u00a0Couchbase Mobile<\/a>\u00a0is as the technology allows them to develop faster and create their\u00a0dream applications over just a weekend.<\/p>\n

Into the night, line by line.. code were pouring out of the students as they relentness and\u00a0tirelessly work on their projects. \u00a0Android Developers were in the making and bonds were forged amongst the team members while\u00a0Hideki<\/a>, Couchbase’s Mobile Engineer, was excitedly helping teams to get up and running.<\/p>\n
