This results in a <b>compact yet powerful model<\/b> that retains strong reasoning capabilities while reducing computational costs.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Dataset: benchmarking with BEIR<\/h2>\n<p>We are evaluating the model\u2019s reasoning capabilities using the<a href=\"https:\/\/huggingface.co\/datasets\/BeIR\/scidocs-generated-queries\"> <b>BEIR dataset<\/b><\/a>, an industry-standard benchmark for <b>retrieval-based reasoning<\/b>. We\u2019re going to import the BEIR dataset\u2019s structured documents into a couchbase collection first before deploying a Vectorization workflow.<\/p>\n<p>Set up a 5-node (or larger!) operational database cluster on Couchbase Capella with the search and eventing functions enabled.
