En ese art\u00edculo sostengo que los juegos integrados en las redes sociales pueden \"convertirse en virales\", sumando millones de usuarios de la noche a la ma\u00f1ana, y que la diferencia entre el \u00e9xito y el fracaso depende de si la infraestructura del juego puede soportar ese tipo de crecimiento explosivo. Apenas un mes despu\u00e9s de la publicaci\u00f3n, obtuvimos dos datos muy visibles en apoyo del argumento.<\/p>\n<p>Un ejemplo negativo fue Los Simpson de EA: Tapped Out. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.awn.com\/news\/internet-and-interactive\/ea-games-launches-simpsons-tapped-out\">Lanzamiento el 2 de marzo<\/a>El juego comienza cuando Homer provoca accidentalmente una fusi\u00f3n que acaba con Springfield. Draw Something estaba preparado para crecer. Una de las decisiones clave que tomaron fue utilizar tecnolog\u00eda de bases de datos NoSQL para almacenar los datos del juego, concretamente Couchbase Server. Como Couchbase puede escalar el\u00e1sticamente sin interrumpir el juego, nunca ha habido necesidad de desconectar Draw Something. Ni un segundo en el que no pudieran unirse nuevos usuarios. Ni un momento en el que no se pudiera jugar.
