A medida que las empresas aceleran sus viajes de transformaci\u00f3n digital, la necesidad de escalar r\u00e1pida y eficientemente su infraestructura de bases de datos para satisfacer las crecientes demandas de procesamiento ha impulsado la adopci\u00f3n de soluciones DBaaS.  Este blog resumir\u00e1 la comparaci\u00f3n de tres de las principales soluciones DBaaS, NoSQL.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Altoros es un proveedor mundial de servicios inform\u00e1ticos que lleva dos d\u00e9cadas comparando bases de datos. En su \u00faltimo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/research-papers\/performance-evaluation-of-nosql-databases-as-a-service-couchbase-cloud-mongodb-atlas-amazon-dynamodb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Evaluaci\u00f3n comparativa del rendimiento de NoSQL<\/a><\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">informe<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Altoros ha proporcionado un an\u00e1lisis comparativo de tres ofertas de DBaaS NoSQL: Couchbase Cloud, MongoDB Atlas y Amazon DynamoDB. La primera se basaba en actualizaciones, con un 50% de lecturas y un 50% de actualizaciones de los datos. La segunda era una exploraci\u00f3n de corto alcance, que implicaba un 95% de exploraciones y un 5% de actualizaciones, mientras que la tercera carga de trabajo representaba una consulta de paginaci\u00f3n con una \u00fanica opci\u00f3n de filtrado a la que se aplicaban un desplazamiento y un l\u00edmite. Por \u00faltimo, la cuarta carga de trabajo fue una consulta JOIN a la que se aplic\u00f3 agrupaci\u00f3n y ordenaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo se comparan los tres proveedores de DBaaS?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Caras a cara en cargas de trabajo de consulta NoSQL<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aunque cada una de las tres ofertas DBaaS ten\u00eda sus puntos fuertes y d\u00e9biles, en todas las pruebas de carga de trabajo Couchbase Cloud result\u00f3 ser la m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida de las tres. Para el primero, <strong>carga de trabajo de actualizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>Couchbase Cloud demostr\u00f3 tiempos de latencia bajos en cl\u00fasteres de todos los tama\u00f1os. Aunque obtuvo resultados similares a los de Amazon DynamoDB cuando se midi\u00f3 en un cl\u00faster de 6 nodos, Couchbase Cloud destac\u00f3 en cl\u00fasteres de 9 y 18 nodos con tiempos de latencia inferiores a un milisegundo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cuando se mide en un <strong>carga de trabajo de exploraci\u00f3n de corto alcance<\/strong>Couchbase Cloud volvi\u00f3 a destacar. Mientras que MongoDB Atlas obtuvo buenos resultados aqu\u00ed, creciendo eficientemente a medida que se a\u00f1ad\u00edan m\u00e1s shards, Couchbase Cloud demostr\u00f3 los mejores resultados con un aumento gradual de las operaciones por segundo, as\u00ed como la latencia m\u00e1s baja y estable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Los resultados de la tercera carga de trabajo fueron m\u00e1s equilibrados entre MongoDB Atlas y Couchbase Cloud. Ambos ofrecieron resultados similares en un cl\u00faster de 6 nodos y en uno de 9, donde el rendimiento fue bajo porque el tama\u00f1o del conjunto de datos y los \u00edndices se duplic\u00f3. A pesar de los resultados similares, Couchbase Cloud fue capaz de superar a MongoDB Atlas en todos los tama\u00f1os de cl\u00faster en esta carga de trabajo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mientras tanto, Amazon DynamoDB no pudo competir del todo: su proceso de indexaci\u00f3n funciona de tal manera que requiere complejas exploraciones de tablas completas, lo que llev\u00f3 demasiado tiempo para esta carga de trabajo, devolviendo errores de tiempo de espera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En la \u00faltima categor\u00eda de cargas de trabajo, los resultados volvieron a favorecer a Couchbase Cloud. Couchbase Cloud registr\u00f3 un mayor rendimiento, con 750 ops\/seg en cl\u00fasteres de 6 nodos, frente a las 100 ops\/seg de MongoDB Atlas. En cada tipo de cl\u00faster, Amazon DynamoDB tuvo 40% de operaciones de actualizaci\u00f3n fallidas y casi 1% de operaciones de lectura fallidas\".<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Ya tenemos los resultados: el mejor almac\u00e9n de documentos<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En general, el benchmark de rendimiento de Altoros encontr\u00f3 que Couchbase Cloud es el DBaaS de almacenamiento de documentos con mejor rendimiento disponible.
