This should be fixed in the init script. I don&#39;t think the problem is within the init script. The problem here is when running the actual binary as root...the init script works just fine. /opt/northscale/bin/northscale is a script that&#39;s put there by the RPM installer.<br/> <br/> Reassigning back to the correct component. Sean and I discussed the a bit and agreed that a simple check within the /opt/northscale/bin/northscale script to make sure that it&#39;s not being run as root is appropriate.
