This appears to be 30 seconds at the moment and it would be useful if this was user configurable.

Mike, it is fairly easy to add such parameter and increase the timeout, but could you take a look at MB-7133? getMeta and set/delWithMeta take quite long to finish, and we see lot of timed out since they cannot finish within 30 seconds. Is it something expected? Also, why we did not see such things in earlier builds? Thanks.

I will take a look at MB-7133. Also, note that I make the fix version for this bug 2.0.1 so we don't need to fix it right away.
