| Description |
|
Post-installation, the service starts up, but is entirely unable to connect and throws substantial log errors in regards to memcached exiting.. The fix for us was to take an older libtcmalloc_minimal-4.dll and overwrite it in the current version. However, not likely to be an ideal workaround in a production environment.

The following errors repeat forever, until the libtcmalloc replacement (and service restart). At which point everything works as expected.

Hi Bin, Can you take a look at this? Also, I'm not up-to-date on my Windows news. Is Windows Server 2012 == Windows 8 ? Thanks, Steve |
| Comment by Chad Kreimendahl [ 25/Oct/12 ] |
| Yes... Windows 8 and Server 2012 share the same code base. |
| Comment by Chad Kreimendahl [ 25/Oct/12 ] |
| So people wanting to use Couchbase on a released OS but entirely unable will have to wait until a future release? Seems worthy of 2.0. |
