Description

Perry asked me if it's possible to add default values for append/prepend like there is for incr/decr.

I talked to trond about this and he said there is no protocol level support for this.

Does it make sense to add this in a future release?

As with incr/decr, it would be very helpful to have a default value come along with the append/prepend operation to keep them atomic and avoid the extra round-trip of an add()
