Description

Given that number of vBuckets significantly impacts performance, and is dependent on cluster server count, it must be a part of the cluster setup wizard. We should not assume that 1024 works for all.

I do not think this should be a user configurable setting. there are major implications if users have mixed clusters with varying # of vBuckets.
We need hard restrictions if # of vBuckets don't match etc. So I am not for this change.
