Rags, why is this incomplete? This is a code refactoring task and has information for what needs to be refactored in the bug in the description. In our ViewFuture and HttpFuture classes their is duplicate code in the get function that should be removed.

Rags had accidentally closed a number of these issues, including this one.

Assigning to Michael to look into for refactoring before 1.1 release.
