Storing your data, and writing an effective view and query requires closer inspection of your document structure. As the complexities of building your application increase, day two will also examine how to log operations in the application and deal with errors and issues.

Format and Daily Schedule

The training course is provided in classroom style, combining a presentation showing you the fundamentals, and then exercises that you can follow using your laptop. These exercises are optional, but we advise following the exercises as this will give you the best opportunity to learn and ask questions about the product.

Classes start at 9am and finish around 5pm each day. There are frequent breaks during the day, and a break for lunch when a suitable stopping point in the presentation is reached. Unless otherwise noted, lunch is not pre-arranged.

What You Need

You should bring your laptop (any platform) so that you can take part in the various exercises. A Java SDK, Eclipse or similar development environment, and Couchbase Server pre-installed on your laptop will enable you to get started as soon as possible.
