Working view compaction for 1.x?

Are there any plans to do a new 1.x release incorporating the recent view compaction fixes (especially COUCHDB-994)?

I'd really like to get view compaction working reliably in my production environment, but wouldn't like to deploy the 2.0 "developer preview" in production...

Hi peronen,
That fix should be in the couchbase single 2.0 dev preview, but your hesitation to use a dev preview in production is quite wise. The couchdb folks are in the midst of voting for the next 1.x release, I think. The next best place to followup is likely the JIRA and/or couchdb mailing list for this, brining your best squeaky-wheel / wave-the-flag / i-need-this techniques. :-)
