Windows Install - Stuck
Fri, 12/21/2012 - 10:29
Trying to install Couchbase 2.0 Enterprise (just downloaded) on Windows Server 2008R2SP1.
The InstallShield is stuck on "Computing space requirements" (progress bar is at the very end). No other programs are running and I left it sit for 20+ minutes.
When I browse to localhost:8091 the admin console is there seems to be working. Also Couchbase shows up in Add/Remove programs.
Should I kill the install and try to reinstall?
This was a known problem with previous installers of Couchbase (before the official 2.0 release). Were you using an older installer (beta maybe?). The solution is generally just to shut down other apps. I've found Chrome to be a problem. Did you have Couchbase previously installed on that machine?
