Hi,

why is there no Erlang client? I mean, isn't that a perfect match? Parts of Couchbase are written in Erlang to solve the same problems Couchbase itself is helping to solve.. Nobody writes scaleable Java applications.. (not saying there shouldn't be a Java client).. but, it seems to me the choice of clients to write was a pure marketing-driven instead being *functional*.. Riak has native Erlang access build-in, btw.

Would be nice to see an Erlang client in the near future.

E.

We have to focus the development resources on the most popular languages out there. Ideally we'd like a client for every programming language out there, but until we've got infinite developer resources we need to focus on the languages with the most users.
