I'm running couchbase 2.0 on amazon with 3 m1.large instances. Rebalance process takes about an hour with ~20k data. Without any data, just after creation of some buckets, about ~30 minutes. I remember that on DP4 rebalance took less time, about 10 min max. Is it ok?

Hello

We are aware about some issues regarding rebalance time, and engineering is working on this.

Also often it is slower as the number of buckets and views you have in each one. Could you please describe you architecture:
- number of buckets
- number of views

Regards

As I said rebalance just after setup with 4 buckets (3x couchbase + 1 memcache) withoun any views and data, just buckets takes about 30 min. Same 4 buckets with data and total 15 views takes about an hour. With same bucket/view config on couchbase dp4 it take much less time.
