Server Crash
Not sure what to make of this behavoir but i installed a 2 Server enterprise cluster
and added a few docs to the cluster. One of the docs i created via PHP client and it
works fine when i go and do a get for index "post_picture_1". I also created a doc
via the web admin gui and gave it a doc id 5 and here it gets very intresting.
If i go and query via PHP all is well, if i use the admin gui and enter the index
of post_picture_1 in the search box it takes some time and within a few seconds the
server i used the admin console on crashes. I get gui notice that there is communication
error and if i log into the server and get status is says couchbase is not running.
If i did not run this in a cluster (standalone) i did not have this problem, also why
is the gui search so slow when you enter index on a cluster to lookup the doc ?
what lient log are you looking for ? The crash happend when i used the webadmin console
Also what server log files do you want ?
Hello,
Sorry for the delay, missed the notification.
If you still have the problem could you please share with us your configuration and logs following the process described here:
http://www.couchbase.com/wiki/display/couchbase/Working+with+the+Couchba...
Please include :
* What versions of the software are you running - Membase/Couchbase Server, moxi, and client drivers?
* Operating system version, architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) and deployment (physical hardware, Amazon EC2, RightScale, etc.)
* Number of nodes in the cluster, how much physical RAM in each node, and per-node RAM allocated to Couchbase Server
* What steps led to the failure or error?
* Information around whether this is something that has worked successfully in the past and if so what has changed in the environment since the last successful operation?
* Provide us with a current snapshot of logs taken from each node of the system and uploaded to our support system via the instructions below
to the message or in the logs
Drop me a PM when you have uploaded the log.
Thanks
