Question about persistence
I've got a question about data persistence in Membase. As I understand it: If the application writes data to the membase storage engine, the data is first cached in memory (RAM). Then a response is sent to the client. After that the data will be stored persistent on SSD or HDD. But when exactly does this asynchronous persistence happen? How long can this period between caching and persistence last? Is data loss possible in this period (e.g. during a power outage)?
I didn't find any information in the whitepaper or in the FAQs. It would be kind, if any of you could explain it to me, or better: point to a reliable source. It would be very helpful!
Thanks in advance :)
