Hello All,

I set up a test network with VMWare and the two mentioned above servers running in a seperate LAN.

I can see both servers in the monitoring screen, and add them too (tried installing/reinstalling/master node in all combinations).

When i try rebalancing though i see the following errors in the logs:

Rebalance exited with reason {wait_for_memcached_failed,"default",
['ns_1@192.168.216.128']}

Starting rebalance, KeepNodes = ['ns_1@192.168.216.128',
'ns_1@192.168.216.129'], EjectNodes = []

I tried adding in both directions too...

I would be grateful for some pointers what I'm doing wrong.

With kind regards

hi there.

We see this error message: wait_for_memcached_failed

when memcached is not fully up. This can happen for a variety of reasons.

can you tell me a bit more about how you installed both nodes - if you had to re-install for any reason and if you have empty buckets or if you have been able to successfully add/set keys?

thanks

-Alex.
