PHP SDK Lots of Timeout Errors

I'm getting a *lot* of timeout errors with the PHP SDK on CB 2.0. I have a number of webservers connecting to three CB servers -- every so often I get "Uncaught exception 'CouchbaseLibcouchbaseException' with message 'Failed to get a value from server: Operation timed out'" from *one* web server at a time. The CB servers aren't overloaded in the least. Any idea what may be causing this?

Have the same issue but on Couchbase 1.8. With normal load getting to many such errors.
