Out of sync replica items
Thu, 07/28/2011 - 01:30
Hi All
This is probably a bit of a newbie question, but if I have 2 Membase 1.7.1 servers in a single cluster, with 2 Membase replicated buckets, should the active/replica items always be in sync?
So at the moment I'm seeing:
Server 1: Active Items (37), Replica Items (34) Server 2: Active Items (34), Replica Items (35)
What I was expecting to see:
Server 1: Active Items (37), Replica Items (34) Server 2: Active Items (34), Replica Items (37)
Is this a Membase issue, or simply a lack of understanding on my part?
Thanks,
Rob

Would you be taken with exchanging hyperlinks?

Without any changes going on, I would expect those items to be in sync (and our testing shows that they are).
Are you setting any of the items with expiration?
If you run "/opt/membase/bin/mbstats :11210 hash details" on each server, you should see exactly where all the items are. Feel free to post that output here for me to look at.
