Multiple Buckets on 2.0x Dec 2012

What is the maximum number of Buckets for the current Beta of 2.0
This and still expect reasonable performance.

Would 15-20 now be tenable, versus the prior 8-10 ?
Are there plans to differentiate this prior to release ?

This question has been asked and the docs reflect older info.

There have been several updates to the source since the other posts, so possibly things have changed.

I will check, but I would like to understand why you do need so many buckets?

Most of the type Couchbase deployments do no need lot of buckets and they are organize logically by "application". This is why we often compare a Bucket to a "database".

Hello,

Why you do need so many buckets?
As I said most of the time our customers are not using a lot buckets.

The reason why we put a limit is to minimize the operations, network communications, processes, that are most of the case organized by bucket.
