"Minute Bucket Monitor" fails to display data and results in a log-entry "web request failed"
Wed, 11/10/2010 - 23:11
On our live system, just after about 12 hours of operation, the Bucket Monitor using the "Minute" overview doesn't display any results.
There is only the following log entry:
Server error during processing:
["web request failed",
{path, "/pools/default/buckets/b2c-session/stats"},
{type,error},
{what,badarith},
{trace,
[{menelaus_stats,'-samples_to_proplists/1-fun-3-',2},
{lists,zipwith,3},
{lists,zipwith,3},
{menelaus_stats,samples_to_proplists,1},
{menelaus_stats,build_buckets_stats_ops_response,3},
{menelaus_stats,handle_buckets_stats,3},
{menelaus_web_buckets,checking_bucket_access,4},
{menelaus_web,loop,3}]}]
Any ideas what is going wrong?

Thanks bmad, I think this is covered by a known issue and will be resolved in the next release. We have done some significant reworking of the UI to handle intermittent errors better.
It would be good to hear from you when the next release is out whether this has been satisfactorily resolved.

Great to hear!
Thanks in advance and I will post our results after the next release...
Besides kudos to such a nice (Erlang) product!

A small update: right now it is working properly again... but from time to time the above glitch happens again. But I currently can't see a pattern in the behaviour.
