MembaseServer: Erlang machine seems to die continously, not restarted.
I've seen this message in my event viewer a few times (3 times over the past 4 months), after which the membase service seems to tank completely until I manually restart the service on my server.
This has happened with the 1.6.X releases and appears to be happening again with 1.7 (this is the first time since I upgraded, so I was hoping this was resolved).
Breakdown of what I'm running:
- Windows 2008 R2 Standard with 12 GB of RAM
- Single Membase Server instance (currently 1.7) with a single data bucket given 3GB of quota
If there's anything further I can add to aid in troubleshooting, please let me know.
Sure thing; on its way.

Dan/mowen,
There seems to be a bug with gathering disk stats on Windows. Can you confirm whether there are any symlinks in the path to your data files?
Perry,
Not that I know of (I don't recall creating any) - is there some way I could confirm this for you?
Likely not if you didn't do anything manually. We're still digging into the logs, I'll let you know if anything else pops up.
Perry
Can you please run "C:\Program Files\Membase Server\bin\mbcollect_info" and send the resulting file to perry@couchbase.com?
Thanks!
Perry
