I have a set of virtual machines (1 and 2) that need to connect to the Membase Server 1.7.1 installed on the 3rd virtual machine (3) through non-updating set internal IPs.

Setting up of Membase Server on the 3rd machine was a breeze. Everything worked as expected. I can connect to the membase console on 3 from 1 and 2 at port 8091 and see everything correctly.

But when I try to store/get anything to this server on 3 from 1 and 2, I am unsuccessful. Interesting thing is that if I try to store/get anything from server 3 itself locally, it works fine.

I tried the steps mentioned in http://www.couchbase.org/wiki/display/membase/Using+Membase+in+the+Cloud to stop, unregister, register with the internal IP, delete the config files and and start.

Still no success. Can someone please point out where the problem is? Thanks!

What error are you getting when you attempt to set/get a key?

Greetings,

I am having the same issue. Writing to membase works when doing set key_value 0 0 1 on localhost. But when doing it from a remote server it does work but when I check the bucket there is no data though it says it created the data successfully.

Thanks
