Hi all,

As you may have noticed in your Membase UI, we have released Membase
Server 1.7.1!

Membase 1.7.1 has a number of new features for performance, scalability,
and monitoring. Notably:
* Auto failover support. We now have optional automatic failover support,
that will failover nodes that are not responding for a configurable amount
of time. It will also send out emails on node failures.
* Improved cluster restore. A new procedure for faster and easier
restoring of backups to a new set of machines to recover from catastrophic
node failures.
* Crucial bug fixes around memory usage and lots of other improvements.

We recommend all users upgrade to the latest release.
