Limiting a bucket to a few nodes in a cluster?
Even though, I probably know this isn't really possible, but still thought of asking in case there is a way to do this.
Say I have a 5 node cluster. Can I create a bucket A which instead of being spread across all 5 nodes is only distributed across 2 nodes? And I create another bucket B, which is spread across the other 3 nodes.
This would go a long way in providing true multi-tenancy on the cluster. With the above config, I could manage tenant A and tenant B, pretty much independently and yet have only 1 cluster to admin.
Yes, I know I could create 2 clusters of 2 nodes and 3 nodes each but as the number of tenants increase and providing everyone their own cluster will become an admin's nightmare.
Also, I'd like to hear what are users doing for multi-tenancy where you have a single large cluster?
