Hello,

Congrat for the great release of the Couchbase server 2.0.
I wonder if you let me know about the Jruby SDK.. What is its status?
Ruby SDK is great but if you want ot deploy on a platform like TorqueBox, Jruby is the must.
I saw in github Jruby for Couchbase, but it is not up to date..

Thank you for your help..

Brice

Yeah the Jruby one was a community member, you can easily recompile the gem by replacing the jars in there with the more current ones. It's not really an "implementation", just a simple wrapper around the Java jars. You still have to follow the Java syntax rather than Ruby for Couchbase operations.

I have been wanting to put together a Jruby implementation that follows the Couchbase gem Ruby syntax. When I get time and make some progress on it, I'll tweet about it or something for alpha or beta...

Thank you so much Scalabl3 for your response..
In effect, would be great if Jruby implementation looks like just the same as Ruby..
I will give a hit when you make some progress on that. In the meantime I will try test with the ruby gem.

I will follow you in Twitter..
Cheers,

Brice
