Hi,

I am very disappointed by the way this forum runs and how a good product like this will loose the market without proper document or response or support from Couchbase team.

I had plans to use the database for upcoming projects, but now I'm sceptical since, I cannot find proper documentation for SSL implementation even though Couchdb supports SSL natively and the documentation is vague. Ultimately, Security is the most important aspect of any database for LOB, but I think Couchbase cannot be used for any LOB applications.

Even some examples in the documentation is hard to understand for a Document Database newbie, since I come from RDBMS background.

Regards
JKN

Typically Couchbase is front ended by an Application Server in typical production applications which
handles security.

Buckets (other than default) handle SASL authentication.

If there is some documentation that needs to be cleared, please let us know and
so that it makes it to

Thanks!
