IP for listening under Windows
I'm trying to open up a couchdb node. It appears it is only listening on the loopback address of 127.0.0.1 at the moment. Clients running on the same machine using the loopback address work fine, nothing works using the machine IP address.
I'm fairly sure there are no firewall issues here since I can access the CouchDB console remotely and I have run another app to listen on the port.
Google searches turn up references to setting a "binding_address" parameter in a "local.ini" file but I don't seem to have those, so I'm guessing those links don't apply to my current version?
Could someone point me at the doc for this in current versions?
Environment is Windows 7 and 2008 server. Community build 1.8.0.
Thanks
Take a look here for a guide on how to get CouchDB to listen on 0.0.0.0.
