Installing the RedHat rpm on an Amazon Linux AMI
I tried installing the Couchbase 2.0.1 RPM on a Linux Amazon AMI, but ran into an issue with dependencies. I was wondering if someone has already solved it (though I didn't find anything using search about it).
Here is the error I got when I ran:
sudo rpm --install couchbase-server-enterprise_x86_64_2.0.1.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libcrypto.so.6()(64bit) is needed by couchbase-server-2.0.1-170.x86_64
libssl.so.6()(64bit) is needed by couchbase-server-2.0.1-170.x86_64
However, when I run: find / -name libcrypto.so\*
And: find / -name libssl.so\*
Using --nodeps didn't work either as couchbase then failed to start up. :(
Oddly enough, according to this ticket , it's a solved problem, but apparently it's not.
Thanks for any help!
