Install only the CLI tool?

Howdy - is there a straightforward way to install only the CLI tools (ie couchbase-cli) on a server, without installing the server package? I want a client server to be able to run the CLI command for flushing a bucket on another (remote) server.

Using couchbase enterprise 1.8.x

We don't have an easy way to do this at the moment, but I have filed a bug for this and discuss the topic with some of our developers. We will try to get something out as soon as possible.

Thanks for the response, that is helpful. Pending a new package release, is it safe to install the couchbase-server package, stop the couchbase-server (and moxi) processes, and then turn off autostart of couchbase-server at the various run levels?

Yes, you can certainly do that for now and it won't cause any issues.
